Ramble Modern
An active - working couple, a tech executive and a philanthropist moved from Boulder to Asheville to be closer to family. They fell in love with the Blue Ridge mountains, biking trails, and restaurants around Asheville. We developed a design based on a modern farmhouse vision with simplicity at its core, clean yet sophisticated details and embracing the wooded views around the home. The owners, who are world travelers, and have owned many homes were clear in their desires for the home and challenged the design and construction team to explore and implement some really fun and unique details that gave the house a clean, strong presence both inside and out. The overriding theme was to have a place for everything in the home so that nothing was on display except the home itself
