Remodeling Design Awards 2018 Merit Winner

Out of 134 entries from across the globe, the  judges from the monthly publication, Remodeling Magazine, chose nine winners for this year’s Remodeling Design Awards. We are delighted that our project was selected as the 2018 Merit winner. You can see this Victorian Classic printed in their October Issue.

This grand porch was an addition to the existing home built by the actress Andie Macdowell. It sits on the Biltmore Country Club golf course. The screen porch was built to give the new owners an outdoor area they could enjoy 3 seasons for entertaining. The challenge was to design a structure commensurate with the existing home, both in scale and in materials.
